GREEN-FINGERED enthusiasts are being sought to help Clevedon blooming.

Every Friday a small group of volunteers from Clevedon Pride meet in Queens Square to help keep the town centre in tip-top condition.

However, more help is needed and Clevedon Pride’s gardening group is looking for more volunteers to lend a hand. No great experience is needed and people of any age are welcome to help.

Anyone interested in volunteering can simply turn up in Queens Square at 10am on a Friday or can call Sue on 01275 871591 or Linda on 872170.

Clevedon Pride is a voluntary action group set up four years ago with the aim of sprucing up areas of the town.

As well as gardening, the group has a year-long programme of activities to raise funds for Christmas lights and further floral displays.

Every Monday, volunteers can also be seen out and about litter picking along the town’s streets.

Anyone wishing to become a member of Clevedon Pride can pop into Present Company in Queens Square to sign up.
