Suspicious men in country lane

NORTH Somerset residents have been warned to be on the lookout for three suspicious-looking men.

Driving an open top, old, green, 4x4 vehicle, the three men have been spotted in the Youngwood Lane area of Nailsea on a number of occasions in the past week.

Police do not believe them to be dangerous but are advising land owners, residents and farmers to ensure any machinery or items of value are secured and not left in the open unattended.

The men are described as in their 30s, of scruffy appearance with short cropped hair and tattoos. One of the men was also spotted wearing some sort of flying goggles.

Anyone who spots the men are asked to call Nailsea police on 0845 456 7000. They should not be approached.
