VOLUNTEERS at Clevedon’s Age UK charity shop are urging shoppers to support a Spread the Warmth campaign aimed at ensuring the elderly stay warm in winter.
The charity’s Bobble Day takes place on February 8 and helps raise cash toward supplying winter clothes and heaters to the elderly as well as providing financial support to those who struggle to afford heating bills.
From now, the shop in The Triangle will be selling small orange bobbles to customers to help boost the funds.
