POLICE from Nailsea helped to keep children entertained during the summer holidays by taking their mobile skate park to various community events.
PCSOs took the equipment to Nailsea School every week over the summer so members of the Orca Kids Club could put in some practice on the slopes.
Youngsters at the Nailsea Play Scheme at Backwell Children’s Centre were also able to have play on the ramps.
PCSO Charlotte Thompson said: “Activities like these are invaluable for young people in North Somerset, giving them somewhere to spend time with their friends and have some fun in a supervised environment.
“They also help us to get to know the younger people that live on our beat.”
