Summer fair raises £2k for school playground

Welly-wanging, target practice and mini golf were just some of the games on offer for families at a school fair in Nailsea.

St Francis Primary School put on a wide range of activities and entertainment including a giant inflatable obstacle course, hoopla, stocks for the teachers, dance displays and live music.

The fair raised about £2,700 in total and the money will be used to pay for new equipment in the school playground.
