Street parties for royal wedding
REVELLERS from four streets in North Somerset will be raising a toast to Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29 as they celebrate the day with a street party.
Residents from Debeccas Lane in Easton-in-Gordano, Porlock Gardens in Nailsea, Church Path Road in Pill and Stonewell Lane in Congresbury have applied to North Somerset Council for permission to close their streets for the royal wedding.
Some residents have asked for the roads to be closed throughout the day while Congresbury residents hope to party until midnight.
Residents have until April 1 to apply to the council for permission to close the road. To find out more about organising a street party visit www.n-somerset.gov.uk
