The new state-of-the-art fire station at Bristol Airport has been completed.
The £5million project, located next to the runway and the existing fire training ground, is one of a series of improvements being undertaken at the airport by engineering firm McCann and Partners, including work on a new immigration hall and airline building.
Andrew Goodenough, development director at Bristol Airport, said: “We are currently completing a variety of projects at the airport to meet the growth in passenger numbers.
“Sustainability and energy efficiency are key factors for all projects and it is great to work with McCann and Partners, who share the same approach in promoting state-of-the-art technology and design in development.”
Jeff Price, mechanical director at McCann and Partners, said: “Working on this development has been a huge opportunity for us and we look forward to expanding on this in the coming months.”
