The stars of a Clevedon-based love story were out at the Curzon cinema last night (Thursday).

The venue hosted a homecoming gala screening of Mum’s List in celebration of its release.

Director Niall Johnson was in attendance alongside St John Greene, the author of the best-selling novel the film is based on, and his two sons Reef and Finn.

The film follows St John, known as Singe, and his wife Kate through their early years to her battle with breast cancer, which led to her creating a list of 100 things for her husband to complete with their two children after her death.

Many familiar locations in Clevedon were used during filming including the Pier, Princes Hall and St Andrew’s Church.
