Solicitors support hospitals with 20-mile walk

Solicitors in Clevedon and Portishead have held a sponsored walk to raise money for Bristol hospitals.
Staff at Star Legal offices in the two towns joined forces to walk from the company’s Clifton branch to Clevedon, a distance of around 20 miles.
Around £800 has been raised so far.
A spokesman said: “The charities we have chosen to support are close to our hearts as Clevedon office manager, Hannah Kenward, had a very premature baby in November 2014 who spent many days, weeks and months under the care of Southmead Hospital and Bristol Children’s Hospital.
“He is now a very happy and healthy three-year-old but without their fantastic love, care and support things might not have turned out as well as they have.
“We would therefore like to raise funds to give something back to both these fantastic hospitals who work tirelessly to care for sick and premature babies and children.”
