A recruitment drive has been launched ahead of the reopening of Clevedon hospital's inpatients unit.

North Somerset Community Partnership (NSCP) has revealed the ward, which has been closed since March 2016, will open next month following an extensive refurbishment project.

Now the NSCP is putting together a housekeeping service to deal with catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies throughout the building, which is set to be officially renamed North Somerset Community Hospital.

NSCP divisional lead for rehabilitation services Cath Williams said: “With the high rate of employment in Clevedon we have had fewer applicants than we would have expected.

“If there is anyone out there who wants a job with flexible hours they can work around their childcare commitments, college or to supplement their pension, please get in touch.”

Anyone interested in the role can contact 01275 546808 or nscp.recruitment@nhs.net
