Staff cycle for cholesterol charity

Staff at Clevedon’s Strode Leisure Centre have raised more than £230 by cycling 400 miles.
The gym team used spin bikes in the centre’s car park to complete the challenge, which took them a total of three hours and 35 minutes, to raise awareness of cholesterol.
Free cholesterol checks were also available to the public while a raffle to win a hamper of fresh fruit and vegetables was given away with every entrant also receiving a free gym pass.
All of the money raised from the event will go to national cholesterol charity Heart UK.
