A harvest service with a difference has been held at a Clevedon church.

St Andrew’s Church in Old Church Road has been collecting tools rather than the traditional fruit, vegetables and tinned food to donate to Christian charity, Tools with a Mission. It is also collecting packs of stationery for under privileged children.”

John Rostron, church member, said: “St Andrew’s is collecting old tools or any useful item that could be refurbished throughout October and would be pleased if people could look through their tool boxes and see if there are any old or redundant tools which could be recycled.

“If they have, they can contact the church office on 01275 872982 or bring them to the church.”
