A printing manufacturer has handed over thousands of pounds to a children’s charity.

Moira Kearley from Roland DG presented a cheque for £8,500 to Springboard Opportunity Group last week.

The Clevedon-based charity received the gift to put towards helping children with additional needs.

It will also go towards arranging play sessions and offering family support.

Ms Kearley said: “It is a great feeling to give something back to the community.

“Springboard have helped some of my colleagues and friends in the past and they still do, so we are familiar with the important work they do.

“Personally, I can not think of anyone more deserving and I really hope that the money helps them make a big difference.”

The money was raised through a company auction which was won and through a food sale.
