DON’T MISS: Family sports day for charity
PUBLISHED: 11:00 18 June 2019
A charity family fun sports day will be launched this month to raise money to support a mentoring programme.
The Jack Hazeldine Foundation (JHF) will host the event at 2pm on June 23 at Clevedon Cricket Club and is being run in conjunction with Future Stars Coaching.
Children from two to 11 will be able to play football, netball, tennis, cricket and rugby sessions while adults get involved with relay races and sporting games.
People attending the foundation's event will also be able to enjoy a children's play park, a bouncy castle and live music.
The JHF's managing director, Pearl Cross, said: "We are hugely committed to the children and young people we work with in North Somerset and are seeing a significant increase in referrals.
"Events such as this will not only help raise awareness and valuable funds for the charity, but will also bring the community together in a positive, supportive environment, which is what the foundation is all about."
