VICTORIAN soldiers took over the lawns at a historic property in Wraxall during a day dedicated to honouring their war efforts.
The National Trust property at Tyntesfield invited one of the country’s best re-enactment groups to tell the story of the soldiers and put on rifle demonstrations using all the authentic kit a soldier of the empire would need
Visitors to the Victorian estate on Saturday and Sunday could also learn about soldier’s lives on the move as well as the support they were given by their wives to keep fighting fit.
