A BADGE of office has been handed over to the new president of Clevedon Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

Paul Adams often plays piano for the group’s concerts and has previously helped during rehearsals.

He has taken over from outgoing president Ray Booth, who retired in October 2012.

Paul, who is also chairman of the Congresbury Singers and a patron of St Georges in Bristol, was presented the badge by the group’s chairman Dave Robinson during a special ceremony.
