Police have told dog owners to be extra careful when around lambs.

Three sheep strayed onto a busy road in Wraxall leading to a number of reports from the public.

The animals had escaped from a nearby field and wandered onto the B3130 near Wraxall Hill at 8.15am.

Avon and Somerset Police called the owner and the sheep were taken back to their field by 8.41am.
