Severe weather warning raised

THE MET office has warned elderly people could be at risk after it raised its severe weather warning.

The weather experts say there is a 90 per cent chance of severe cold weather between today (Mon) and Friday in North Somerset.

The warning has been moved to a level three, meaning elderly people could be at risk and services disrupted.

The news comes as snow showers fell in North Somerset this morning.
