SENIOR citizens in Portishead have raised £200 for Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Residents at Norewood Lodge raised the money at a coffee afternoon and sale in support of Gordano School pupil Victoria Downey.
Victoria launched a fundraising campaign for the Wallace and Gromit Appeal for the hospital in October when she had her long hair chopped off in a charity hair cut at the town’s Robert John salon.
Her fundraising included playing the piano for residents at Norewood, which motivated the residents to organise the coffee afternoon event.
