The annual Portishead Senior Citizens’ Supper was held at Somerset Hall, with 130 people having the chance to tuck into a three-course meal as well as watch some impressive performances from pianists at St Peter’s Church, the Ukeladies and The Barnacle Buoys.

The event is organised by a committee led by Cristina Hughes and Elissa Hamilton, with help on the night from volunteers including members of Portishead’s police cadets, St John Ambulance cadets and Gordano School pupils.

Wiltshire Farm Foods provides most of the food with donations also given by Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Lidl.
