HUNDREDS of pounds have been given to a group of Portishead youngsters to help pay for new sports equipment.
The Kilkenny Explorer Scout Unit was presented with a cheque for £652 by Tony Tucker, master of the Olympian Lodge of Freemasons.
The lodge meets at Nailsea Masonic Hall and aims to raise money to enable sporting organisations to buy equipment specific to their needs.
