CLEVEDON residents can rely on some of the town’s youngsters to deliver their Christmas cards again this year.
The 1st Clevedon Scout group will run its Christmas card delivery service from November 20 and will see more than 60 of its members, group leaders and parents helping to collect the cards from special post boxes and distributing them to the addressees.
Stamps will be on sale for 20p at a number of businesses in the town, where there will also be post boxes for cards to be dropped into.
Last year’s post raised �1,000 with the delivery of more than 5,000 cards within Clevedon.
Once again Paceprint in Kenn Road has produced the stamps free of charge and they, along with the post boxes, will also be available in Sixway Sports in Alexandra Road, Vision Express in Hill Road, Studio 2 in Hill Road, Cut N Curl in East Clevedon Triangle , Kenn Road news, Lorraines Coffee Shop in Old Church Road, Clevedon DIY Centre in Teignmouth Road and Rowlands Pharmacy in Old Street.
