AN AUTHOR from Pill has signed contracts for three of his science fiction books.

Writer, Gareth Powell, has now written four novels for which the rights have been snapped up by publishers.

Two of his titles, Silversands and The Last Reef, have had the digital rights bought by Anarchy Books and will be available to download early next year.

Meanwhile Solaris Books has commissioned a brand new 90,000-word novel called Ack-Ack Macaque, which will be published in January 2013 and will be Gareth’s fourth book.

Gareth, aged 41 of Westward Drive who is a father-of-two, has also seen his current novel, The Recollection, sell well in the UK and USA.
