EXERCISE and fun are on the agenda throughout the school holidays at a Portishead sports centre.
Gordano School Community Trust Sports Centre in St Marys Road is running a variety of events for children during the week commencing February 13 and then again during the Easter break in April.
Bookings are now being taken for a day-long circus school workshop on February 15 run by Silvers Circus School. A spokesman for the school said: “Circus skills are great physical activities that release energy in a creative, non-competitive form.
“Through circus skills co-ordination, space awareness, co-operation, individual and team problem solving can all be enhanced.”
Other activities included in the holiday programme include Bristol City Football Club coaching, tennis lessons and sport fun days.
