School fair raises thousands for Clevedon new equipment

A summer fair has raised thousands of pounds for a Clevedon primary school.

All Saints Primary School’s parent teacher association (PTA) held a fun-filled event at The Glebe field featuring an array of games and activities for all the family.

The event raised £2,000 which will be used to buy new computer equipment for the school.

Anna Griffin, member of the school’s PTA, said: “This year the All Saints PTA summer fair was all about the great outdoors.

“Children took part in various growing activities such as decorating pots and planting vegetables and flowers, entering a grow or make your own entries for a flower show, winning prizes of seeds to plant to help our bee population.

“We even had a huge outside playground full or natural play equipment to build castles, make walkways and towers.

“The bar, barbecue, homemade ice cream and smoothies kept us all going strong.”
