Scholarship for budding young engineer

A YOUNG engineer at St Katherine’s School in Pill has been shortlisted for an interview for the prestigious Arkwright Scholarship.
Alistair Mitchell passed the gruelling two-hour Arkwright Aptitude Exam which assessed his skills to design solutions to engineering problems and will now progress to an interview hosted by a top university.
Christopher Sammons, headteacher at St Katherine’s, said: “Arkwright Engineering Scholarships are notoriously hard to win and he has done an amazing job in reaching the final stage of the process.”
