HUNDREDS of bikers dressed in Father Christmas costumes could be spotted on North Somerset’s roads as part of efforts to raise money for a children’s charity.
The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) Santas on a Bike ride took place on December 1, with 400 participants riding from Cribbs Causeway to Charlton Farm in Wraxall.
It is hoped the event will have raised 6,000 toward the charity’s work supporting and caring for youngsters with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses and their families.
CHSW community fundraiser Kylie Gallagher said: “Seeing hundreds of Santa bikers make their way down the hospice drive is the perfect way to kick off festive celebrations at Charlton Farm.
“The magical atmosphere of the Santas on a Bike visit helps create such precious memories for the families here.”
