Sam Hughes-Smith was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma at the age of 19.

Sami, who works as a bar manager at The Glassmaker, is now five years in remission and to celebrate she held a quiz, a cake sale and a raffle in aid of CLIC Sargent.

Sami also had her locks shaved off to raise money for the cause.

She said: “I’m raising money for CLIC Sargent as Wetherspoon’s as a company supports the charity.

“I was supported by them when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma at 19 in 2012. They helped me and my family out with the financial and emotion trauma of my cancer diagnosis. I’m now five years in remission.”

CLIC Sargent is the leading cancer charity for children and young people. Sami has raised more than £1,000 for the charity so far.
