A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD from Clevedon raised �200 for Marie Curie Cancer Care during a swimming challenge.
Ruby Farrell swam 14 lengths, a total of 350m, to collect cash for the charity during a swimathon at Strode Leisure Centre in Clevedon.
The St John’s Primary School pupil goes swimming with her family every Sunday and was the youngest of four swimmers taking part in the event on April 10.
Ruby, of Oldville Avenue, said: “I would like to thank everyone for sponsoring me and for all the good luck wishes and cheering on from my family, I managed to raise �200 for a really good cause, I got a fabulous medal as well.”
