Plans to demolish a disused Royal British Legion building have been amended amid building proposal concerns from within the village.

CSJ Planning has taken into consideration North Somerset Council's observations about a development set for Long Ashton.

Plans for nine homes, parking spaces and refuse/recycling stores were submitted to the council in December.

The developer has amended the plans following 'overcrowding' concerns, which was noted by Long Ashton Parish Council.

Changed plans include
to move one of the proposed buildings south and to alter roof gables to reduce the visual impact on the area.

CSJ Planning now hopes to have a decision from North Somerset within 14 days and to seek approval for the housing.
