A BUMPER year of fundraising will be recalled when Nailsea and Backwell Rotary Club holds its annual meeting on June 7.
More than �15,000 has been given to local charities during the committee’s activities during the past year.
Spokesman Mike Brayley said: “We have always been a hands-on club, giving particular attention to the needs of young people.
“This has included helping children’s reading at local schools, running mock interviews for school leavers, outings for less abled children and supporting care staff looking after youngsters with learning difficulties.”
