PORTISHEAD Rotary Club has presented St Peter’s Hospice with a cheque for �1,589.
The money was raised by street collections in Portishead and other club fundraising activities.
Rotary’s senior vice president, David Oynes, presented hospice community fundraising manager, Petra Vesela, with the cheque at a ceremony at Clarence House, where Petra explained that this amount of money would allow someone to be treated at home by the hospice for six days.
