Hundreds of people are preparing to be doused with paint in a fundraising event in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

The charity’s rainbow run is taking place in Wraxall this year – to raise money for children with life-limiting conditions.

It is the seventh year of the hospice’s flagship event, which will take over the North Somerset Showground, off Bristol Road, on June 8.

Participants can run, walk or jog through colourful explosions of paint - all in aid of a worthy cause.

Anyone aged five and over can sign up to the event, which is great fun for all the family.

CHSW, in Wraxall, provides care for the whole family, including short breaks, a dedicated sibling team and one-to-one specialist care.

Last year, participants raised more than £65,000 for the charity.

Registration is now open and people can sign up at www.chsw.org.uk/rainbowbristol
