PORTISHEAD’S Christmas lights committee is still appealing for unwanted clothes and textiles.
Determined to meet their three ton goal, members have extended their deadline to top up collections.
Volunteers will collect any old clothes from homes and businesses in Portishead. The textiles will then be weighed by a recycling company which will make a donation to the 2013 festive illuminations and distribute the goods to developing countries.
