North Somerset Arts week saw 200 artists showcase their work over 10 days at 45 exhibitions. Organisers promised the event would be 'bigger and better than ever', and their hard work has paid off. Art fans travelled from as far as London to take part.

Gail Mason and Claire Hall, co-chairmen of North Somerset Arts Week, said: "North Somerset Arts Week has been an amazing event with increased footfall and sales.

"Visitors have travelled from mid Wales, South Somerset, Bristol and London for this event.

"The feedback has all been positive, especially with the quality of work and interesting venues."
