The 1st picture shows the clock as it was on 28th December 2017. Then on January 31st at 1300hrs and low tide 2 persons accessed Birnbeck Pier and proceeded to break the clock out of its tower. It was dragged down under the arches and smashed into smaller pieces ready to be bagged up and taken away.
