A FESTIVAL of Flowers was held in Nailsea to tie in with the Diamond Jubilee.
More than 30 exhibits were on show to visitors last weekend at Nailsea United Reformed Church in Stock Way North.
It was the second cause for celebration in as many weeks for the church after receiving a letter from the Queen ahead of her jubilee.
Church secretary Sally Edmondson sent a letter and a poster about the flower festival to Buckingham Palace and received a response from the Queen’s Lady-in-Waiting, Annabel Whitehead, expressing Her Majesty’s best wishes. The Queen’s message was on display at the show.
