ENGLAND house captains from Crockerne Primary School in Pill visited Penny Brohn Cancer Care to pass on a donation.

Amy Smith, Ashleigh Wills, Ethan Ando and Oscar Clarke went to the base of the Pill charity where they handed over a cheque for 188, which was raised through various activities including a cake sale and a session sponging teachers.

The money will help pay for four people to receive care and support from the charity.

The children have begun fundraising again and are now collecting unwanted CDs and DVDs which can be recycled in return for cash.
