One of North Somerset’s biggest accident blackspots should be changed and a roundabout installed, if new homes are permitted.

Wrington Parish Council has suggested Smallway in Congresbury should lost its traffic lights, if a planning application for 21 homes is approved by North Somerset Council.

However, the parish councillors say plans to build homes off Smallway, near the A370, should not proceed.

Similar objections have been made by other parish councils.
