A NAILSEA preschool welcomed an Olympic torchbearer to talk about what it was like to have the eyes of the world bearing down on her.
Youngsters at Greenslade Preschool in Pound Lane welcomed Corinne Day on July 2 and were given the chance to get a closer look at the torch.
Corinne carried the torch through Bristol in May after being nominated to carry it by her colleagues at GE Oil & Gas, in Bristol Road.
The children have learnt a lot about the Olympics in recent weeks and held their own version of the sporting spectacular.
