A LONG Ashton public relations agency has joined forces with one of the South West’s top videographers to provide a new service for businesses.

Empica, based in Lyons Court, has teamed up with Bristol-based photographer Neil Phillips to help businesses with scripting, story-boarding, filming and editing video.

Martin Powell, Empica managing director, said: “Video is becoming increasingly important to get
your message across on the internet.

“Short, newsy clips make websites and social media come alive and we have the skills to help people produce these.

“By combining our strengths of scripting and storyboarding with the technical and high quality visuals of Neil Phillips we have a cost-effective team to offer our clients and those who have a project to be carried out.”

Neil Phillips, who has more than 25 years of experience as a photographer and film-maker, said: “These days a website without video interaction is about as interesting as the small print on a tax return. There are also a lot of people who want to create regular video blogs on subjects.”

Empica offers a team of skilled journalists, broadcast producers and editors with hard news backgrounds. The company’s extensive contacts list also means clients have the opportunity to enlist well-known regional TV personalities for presentations and voice-overs.
