THE creation of a ‘vibrant’ Clevedon Post Office is set to get underway next week.

The Post Office in Bellevue Road
will close for refurbishment on April 2 before re-opening on April 16 and will provide a wider range of services for customers.

There will be two main counters, one open-plan and one screened, open from Monday to Saturday from 9am-5.30pm with a serving point open from Monday to Sunday from 7am-10pm, meaning services will be available 60 hours and 30 minutes more per week.

Adrian Skinner, Post Office regional manager, said: “We know how important Post Office services are to residents of Clevedon and we are confident that this vibrant, modern Post Office at the heart of the community will be popular.”

The revamp is part of a programme across the Post Office network to make it easier for customers by providing longer working hours and open-plan environments.
