This year’s switch-on will take place at 6.15pm on November 26 at the Precinct and as the Times revealed last week, Matt and Rosemary Westley will be involved in the ceremony.

Every year, to help fund the light, the Times teams up with the Christmas lights committee to run the Tree of Light campaign.

Everyone who submits a message for a loved one will have it printed in the paper over the festive season.
