Portishead Town Council is set to discuss plans for a £60million transformation of Old Mill Road.
Standard Life Investments wants to build 350 flats as well as cafés, bars, restaurants, shops and a six-screen cinema.
It submitted an application for outline planning permission to North Somerset Council earlier this month.

The developer’s plans have caused plenty of controversy since they were announced with traders running businesses in the road facing homelessness when their leases end in March.
Portishead Town Council’s planning and regulatory committee will vote whether to recommend approval or refusal for outline planning permission tomorrow (Wednesday) but it is North Somerset which will determine if the plans progress.
The meeting will be held at The Folk Hall, in High Street, at 7.30pm.
