An online book commemorating World War One victims from Portishead will be printed.
Portishead Town Council has voted in favour of paying for the printing of the town’s book of remembrance.
Up until now, it has only been available to view on the authority’s website.
A concert will also take place at Somerset Hall in the Precinct on November 4 to mark 100 years since the end of World War One.
Starting at 2.30pm, the event will include songs from the Portishead Players, poetry readings and a talk by historian Sandy Tebbutt.
Rounding off the memorial commemorations will be a beacon lighting, which will take place at Battery Point at 7pm on November 11.
Battery Point has also been named as one of 100 sites across the country to earn Centenary Fields status, which will protect it from development.
Tickets to the concert, priced £10, are available from Morgan-Westley in High Street.
