Portishead Open Air Pool’s Café Lido, which began operating last year, believes it can be the perfect venue for a christening, wedding or party and is therefore planning to hold a preview evening in March.

It has a licensed bar and can cater for up to 60 guests.

Offering a view of the Bristol Channel, the venue can also be set up to suit guests’ tastes, with informal layouts or conference styles available.

A spokesman for the café said: “Commercial promotional evenings, group meeting and family celebrations, including a wedding anniversary, milestone birthday and a christening are some of the successful events already held at Portishead’s new event facility.”

The preview night will begin at 7.30pm on March 29.
