Hundreds of people have enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of more than a dozen of the most beautiful gardens in Portishead.

The town’s annual open gardens event enjoyed stunning sunshine and soaring temperatures throughout the weekend.

The warm weather attracted a constant stream of visitors to each beautifully maintained garden.

The open gardens event is Portishead in Bloom’s biggest fundraiser of the year, helping the group pay for its impressive planting displays.

As well as the impressive array of gardens, stalls selling plants, paintings and crafts were set up to raise money for a variety of good causes.

To recharge after hours of wandering around the gardens, guests were treated to delicious refreshments including tea, coffee and cake.
