There is slow traffic on the M5 northbound this afternoon (Saturday) following a ‘police incident’.
The incident happened between junction 19 for Portishead and junction 18 for Avonmouth.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary officers are on the scene and originally closed one lane.
However, the lane has now re-opened but Highways England has confirmed long delays still remain on the motorway.
