Dozens of people enjoyed an afternoon of fun in the sun in Portishead.

Portishead In Bloom hosted a big picnic in Jubilee Park on July 20, with a host of family-friendly activities for people to enjoy.

Guests pitched up with a picnic blanket and enjoyed a spot of lunch before enjoying an afternoon of fun and games.

There were a trio of musical performances from The Highly Strung Band, Portishead Town Band and the community choir which entertained the crowd.

Youngsters from Audacity dance group also showcased their skills at the picnic.

There was a selection of children's games, which proved the perfect way to kick off the school summer holidays.

It capped a busy few weeks for the volunteers, which recently welcomed judges from South West In Bloom.
