Police in Nailsea took the kit to St Francis Primary School so pupils could enjoy some mini football games.

The neighbourhood beat team is planning to take the kit around North Somerset to give hundreds of young people the chance to have a go.

Sergeant Mark Raby said:
“We’d like to thank the Gordano School Youth Watch for funding the kit through a play enabling grant.

“We hope that having neighbourhood officers taking the football cage out across North Somerset will be a great way for us to get to know local youngsters in a really positive setting.”
